  Since our last blog a lot has changed and updated with our music comp, the website, bands, music, and everything in between. If you don't follow us on Twitter, Facebook or the old fashion way through our website Big Smile Magazine, then this blog post will catch you up to speed.

 

  The last blog we posted we mentioned that we would be releasing a 2010 summer compilation and we were looking for bands, well we recently filled the spots with some awesome bands that were proud to have them on the comp. The CD artwork is currently being designed and CD's are almost ready to be pressed. Everything should be done and CD in hand over the next week to two. Here is a list of some of the bands that will be on Big Smile's first comp:

  In other news, here are some updates with our website that might strike to your likings. You can now leave comments on any review or any writer on Big Smile without creating an account. We still encourage you to create an account but we encourage even more to leave a comment on a review saying that you like or dislike or just saying hello. Another new feature is a iTunes button above most of our reviews so you can sample the bands music and see for your self what were talking about. Their is a lot of new things on the website that I'll save for the next blog but I have to mention one more thing that you'll love. Our concert calendar is now better than ever! It's seen on every page and you can leave comments on show dates giving your show date exposure to the max. If your in a band I hope you use these 3 things we just told you about to your advantage. (:

Big Smile is currently in production of its' first compilation! 1,000 copies of our Summer 2010 CD will be produced and distributed throughout Southern California. This compilation will feature some of our favorite local, upcoming bands and musicians.
